Roland COLORIP Update Programs

Roland COLORIP ver.2.0A

This is a program for updating the Roland COLORIP ver1.x and ver.2.0 to ver2.0A.
It is necessary to have the Roland COLORIP ver.1.x, ver.2.0 already installed in your computer.

Roland COLORIP ver.2.0A
1. 10 languages have been supported.
Language : French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Chinese (Traditional),
Chinese (Simplified), English and Japanese
Roland COLORIP ver.2.0
1. SP-300 & SJ-640EX have been supported.
2. It becomes possible to set all Color Configurations at [Print] > [Setup] > [Imaging Configuration] > [Edit] > [Imaging Configuration] dialog.

[How to Update]

a. RCR ver. 1.x to RCR ver.2.0A
1. Please click the [Install.exe] file inside the [COLORIP 2.0A updater] folder to run the program after extracting the file and follow the messages on the screen to upgrade the Roland COLORIP.
2. Please install the necessary ICC Profiles for Roland COLORIP ver.2.0A with the [ImageConfigInstaller].
3. ColorConfigConverter
If there is a profile which had newly been creaded or calibrated the original profile in Roland COLORIP ver.1.x
It is necessary to convert the profiles which had been created or calibrated in Roland COLORIP ver.1.x with the [ColorConfigConverter.exe] in order to use them in Roland COLORIP ver.2.0A. ICC Profile which is converted by [ColorConfigConverter.exe] will be installed in Roland COLORIP ver.2.0A automatically.

Please refer to the [colorConfigConverter.help] inside the[COLORIP 2.0A updater] > [Misc] > [ColorConfigConverter] folder.

b. RCR ver. 2.0 to RCR ver.2.0A
1. Please click the [Install.exe] file inside the [COLORIP 2.0A updater] folder to run the program after extracting the file and follow the messages on the screen to upgrade the Roland COLORIP.
2. ICC Profile Calibration
(1) If there is a profile which had newly been created in RCR2.0, and the ink consumption of any color was reduced from 100%
- Please create the profile with RCR 2.0A again.
(2) If Calibration had been done with the original profile of RCR2.0
- Please calibrate the profile with RCR 2.0A again.

[Note]

1. This program doesn't install the new Eco-SOL Ink ICC profiles for Uncoated media.
Please download [Profile Installer] from the following pages if necessary.

** Please note that these profiles have been converted for Roland COLORIP ver.2.0A.
